You would not allow just any doctor to be in charge of your yearly check up, so why allow just any auto-mechanic to service your Infiniti dealer?  While the analogy may seem to be a stretch for you, in reality the parallel reasoning is really not that far off.  Think of it this way, if you need a mole removed, you would visit a different doctor than if you broke your arm.  In the same light, an auto-mechanic that is used to working with and servicing Infiniti parts is going to be more comfortable (and arguably better) at working on Infiniti vehicles, just as the surgeon will be better than the dermatologist at setting your broken arm bones back in place.
